| Visitors Encouraged to 'Enjoy Estates' | |
| 18 July 2005 A new website - www.enjoyestates.org - was launched by environmentalist David Bellamy at Drumlanrig Castle in May. The site aims to show what Scottish estates have to offer, and open them up to a wider audience. Rural estates can offer much to visitors to Scotland - sports and outdoor activities as well as a chance to learn about Scotland’s rich traditions and history. The estates are concerned with conservation issues as well as providing jobs and local produce. Over the next few months, the site will grow as more estates, locations and activities and attractions are added. A links section will also be added to the site, connecting Enjoy Estates to the best of Scottish tourism information. For more information: | |
