| Innovation in Cultural Heritage Interpretation Project Launch | |
| 14 August 2006 Innovation in Cultural Heritage Interpretation (ICHI) is a pioneering project that offers the chance for professionals working in the area of heritage interpretation and sustainable tourism to learn valuable new skills and develop important international links through a series of workshops, visits and activities during exchanges with 4 countries:
Participants will work with and learn from counterparts in tourism and heritage, who work with community groups and manage local natural and cultural resources sustainably. ICHI will enable participants to develop their European and Scottish networks and ultimately set the stage for improved ongoing training within the sector. The project is aimed at people who formally or informally train others in sustainable tourism and heritage interpretation.
