Meetings for Wildlife and Nature Tourism Businesses

On 21st and 26th November 2002, the Tourism and Environment Forum held two meetings for wildlife tourism businesses. The aims of these meetings were to:

• Meet and talk with other wildlife tourism businesses
• Discuss the big issues facing wildlife tourism in Scotland
• Pinpoint what’s good about wildlife tourism in Scotland and where work needs to be done
• Identify the most effective ways of making Scotland a first class wildlife-watching destination.

Seventy businesses from across Scotland attended the two workshops and there was considerable discussion about many aspects of Scotland's wildlife and its tourism industry.
