Tourism and Environment Forum ActivitiesScottish Wildlife & Nature Tourism Operators Association:Ongoing DevelopmentsFollowing a meeting in March 2003, a steering group of 6 wildlife tourism businesses was established to move the development of the constitution and association forwards over the summer. The group met over the summer (May & July 2003). With support from Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Scottish Enterprise, a constitution and initial action plan have been drafted. At a meeting in October 2003, the steering group finalised the constitution and it was formally adopted. A name was also agreed for the group - Wild Scotland. An initial decision on codes of conduct was reached an Executive Committee meeting in November. The minutes from all the steering group meetings and the constitution of the association are available below. |
