...by Boat If you want to get 'up close and personal' with the most northerly resident population of bottlenose dolphins in the world, use only DSP accredited operators! For more information on the Dolphin Space Programme or for help planning your trip, please go to the DSP website, www.dolphinspace.org. That way you can be sure your interest in them will not adversely affect the animals themselves. All DSP accredited operators adhere to an approved code of conduct which ensures minimal disturbance to the animals.
...by Land There are many places along the Moray Firth which offer excellent opportunities for dolphin watching on land. When watching from land it is important not to leave anything behind and take away only the best of memories. As with all wildlife, there are no guarantees of a sighting, so finding out information from local sources beforehand can help you experience some of the best dolphin watching in Europe.
