Welcome to 'Positive Impact online', the newsletter of VisitScotland's 'Sustainable Tourism Unit'. To receive sustainable tourism e-updates straigh to your in-box, click here and fill in your details. It's as simple as that! Sit back and let us keep you updated with green tourism news from across Scotland. EXCITING CHANGES TO ‘POSITIVE IMPACT online’! As you are probably already aware, when the Tourism and Environment Forum (TEF) was wound up in May 2006, VisitScotland’s newly formed Sustainable Tourism Unit took on some of the roles of the TEF. Now, the Sustainable Tourism Unit is ‘reinvigorating’ the GreenTourism website and related newsletters. To continue to develop our vital role in broadcasting sustainable tourism advice and information to the industry, we will be sending the regular green tourism news feed from a new system. Every month you will receive a brief email message containing short teasers to news items. If you click on the items of interest, you’ll be taken to the website of www.visitscotland.org, the official corporate website for VisitScotland, and can read the full story. From here you’ll also be able to access all regional and topical news updates and can sign up to receive all news affecting the Scottish tourism industry. If you are a current subscriber to ‘POSITIVE IMPACT online’ there's no need to sign up again. You will automatically be sent the sustainable tourism eUpdate from a new email address – eupdates@visitscotland.org.
VisitScotland are committed to making Scotland Europe's most sustainable tourism destination.
