In order to achieve this it is important that the tourism industry works to ensure that impacts on our environment are minimised. Many businesses are already tackling this challenge through sound environmental management and effective marketing - these businesses are leading the way in green tourism in Scotland.

'This conference will celebrate the efforts of these businesses, provide an opportunity to learn more about developments in this field and encourage other businesses to get involved.'
