Tourism and Environment Forum Activities

The Tourism and Environment Forum became the Sustainable Tourism Unit in 2007.

An archive of projects undertaken by Tourism and Environment Forum are listed below:

- the Tourism and Environment Forum statement on Sustainable Tourism in Scotland which proposes nine key aims which the Scottish tourism industry should work towards.

- the development of Wild Scotland, the national wildlife and nature based tourism operators association.

- national green tourism conference, held in Edinburgh, March 2004.

-  workshop for policy staff involved in heritage and tourism, held on October 2003.

 

- wildlife tourism conference held in Aviemore, May 2002.
